Hi! I’m Monica. I am a senior communications consultant with 20 years of experience, most of it with an international or multi-cultural focus. I hold a bachelor’s in journalism and a master of international service with a focus on international communication. I’ve spent most of my career working for U.S. federal government contractors on projects making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to work on some pretty important projects (ask me and I’ll tell all) related to housing and urban development, energy and the environment, democracy and governance, and immigration and refugee issues. For the past three years, I’ve been out on my own. My consulting work generally falls into three categories:
I’m always interested in taking on new consulting projects. I enjoy the new challenges each project brings and work hard to find creative ways to meet my client’s needs within their budgets. I’m based in Glenn Dale, Md., about a half hour’s drive from downtown Washington, D.C.
